I just read that Nixon will be available next year. Any thoughts on him coming to San Diego. I know he did pretty good when he played for the Sox. Could be a good center fielder. Kinda reminds me of a better version of Eric Owens.

We have him for 2008 and an option for 2009, but after then things could get scary. Theres no way our market will be able to compete with a New York or Boston, the only way is if Jake feels happy here and takes a cut for the team really.
