I know this isn't a shocker.......but for what it's worth, on KRLD tonight, Victor interviewed Torii Hunter in the pregame show.

At the end of the interview Torii was emphatic in saying that Texas will be at the top of his wish list this off-season. He almost yelled into the mic, saying "very very very much a consideration"

Nate Gold was in AA in 2006 and put up great numbers
and this year he was in AAA and he put up great numbers.

This is a case where size really dosent matter. The Rangers spend all kinds of mad money on top prospects then promote them as if their the next Nolan Ryan. Sure every pitcher would love to pocess a 100mph fastball but the bottom line is it's about getting batters out.

Yeah, Lairds defense is the only thing keeping him on the rangers radar. We have better options at first. I'd say Cat is the leading candidate at the moment. Another power bat would be nice, but there just isn't a ton available....maybe Laird and something for a first baseman read more »
