I think Jonny has played himself off this team. He really hasn't much to give to the team. He's not a very good fielder and he's so streaky at the plate he's almost useless. He seems to think he's much better then he is.

He has ML stuff, but not atitude, too many walks for veteran.

Bill Chastain column comes as no surprise to me. Iwamura has had a good year at 3B but lets face, in 2008 it's Longoria's position if he has a decent spring. Now what to do with Aki? SS? Well he has better range than Harris and I like Harris where he is now at 2B. Seems like a no brainer but we'll see what happens over the winter.

Given the fact that the Devil rays are highly unlikely to make a big-money free agent signing, I thought it might be interesting to look at someone they might actually be willing to pay. On that front, I believe Omar Vizquel would be a good fit at this point in the Rays development.
